Adaminaby Public School
Adaminaby Public School is over 175 years old! It is a wonderful small and well-resourced community school with a proud history that caters for children from Kindergarten to Year 6. Most of the ACAG group have kids at the school!

The school has a fantastic library and a curriculum that varies from literacy and numeracy, to music, art, kitchen and garden, and sport. Pupils enjoy numerous excursions, regional school leader meetings, swimming and athletics carnivals, presentations to local community groups, skiing at Selwyn Snow Resort, and link-up days with other small schools in the region, to name but a few.

The school is well-resourced. Pupils benefit from a high teacher/student ratio and a mixed year class.

There are very significant benefits of small learning communities. Teachers are able to tailor learning to each child, and have an excellent understanding of the needs of each pupil, pupils feel more connected and part of their school community. Small schools facilitate positive student-teacher relationships, which enhance the value of the educational process for all parties.

We will put more information up here about the school shortly.
